For 2020, Colt has consolidated all Commercial & LE Rifle rollmarks under one common model naming nomenclature,"Colt Carbine". This change allows for consistency in manufacturing across current and future rifle builds. Features on this model are identical to the prior LE6920 platform, with the exception of the changed rollmark.
Colt Defense is one of the world’s leading designers, developers, and manufacturers of rifles and carbines. Tried and true, the CR6920 M4 Carbine boasts proven advantages like a safe, semi-automatic rate of fire for potent firepower capability and speed of target acquisition.
Colt customers expect the best, and Colt remains committed to offering nothing but the highest quality products to each and every customer.
Colt sets the standard for the AR15 as when the competition runs their advertisements they will state something along the lines of just as good as a Colt. This platform has performed great and its the reason military and law enforcement around the world have them as their go to rifles. Im sure Colt has raised their prices based on part prices but its the folks after this gun leaves the factory that sets the price. Case in point, in the last 8 months I have bought 3 of this same rifle under a LE program for $949.99 thru a different vendor. There are a lot of ARs to choose from and for the average shooter who shoots a couple thousand rounds a year they all will perform. I carried a Colt 6700 as a duty rifle for 20 or my 30 years as a cop and it served me well, so I have no problem recommending Colts based on my experience. Whatever you have, if you like it then that works for me. Glad to live in America! I have bought several guns from Sportsman Superstore as they have very competitive prices in the market along with availability.
