I have a Heritage revolver. I find it to be well-made. I always liked the revolving carbine concept. I bought mine as a plinker to compliment my handgun. I was pleasantly surprised with the fit and finish. The English-styled buttstock was perfectly fitted to the frame and has beautiful character in the grain. The gun functioned properly and is accurate. You can hunt small game with it. My revolver came with a 22LR cylinder and a 22 Mag cylinder. The carbine comes with only the 22LR cylinder at this time. But, Heritage sells a 22 Mag cylinder for $30. Get one and you can move up to medium game. I bought mine on sale for $120. Well worth it. It is suitable for young shooters just learning about firearms.
