Upgraded version of the WWII Classic. Features a 5 inch barrel, brown checkered plastic grips, a dark gray cerakote finish, and comes with two 8-round magazines.
I love it! Works flawlessly, with no issues whatsoever. Fired 50 Rounds PMC Bronze 230 grain FMJ and 50 rounds of Fiocchi 230 grain FMJ, which cycled without issue.
I shot at two different ranges last week. It was the first time using my new 1911. I put approximately 100 rounds through it. Flawless. I purchased it because the 1911 is what my father was issued for his 36 years in the US Army, including Korea and two tours in Vietnam. I was also issued the 1911 at the beginning of my 25-year career. I am very happy with this purchase.
Awesome deal. Gun is an awesome shooter. Shipping was perfect. No issues.
I bought the 9mm 1911 and was so impressed I purchased the .45. I decided to experiment a bit and bought a sear jig and trigger track stone. After a little work on the .45 it has become my favorite. Just received my second .45 and I'm waiting on some items from SDS to upgrade a bit. I like the skeletonized trigger and also went with the walnut grips. Parts are reasonable and even though I'm no gunsmith, I'm comfortable working on these. So far highly impressed with accuracy.
A 1911 for this price is enough to make some skeptical but after reading the reviews I decided to purchase. I was very surprised of the fit and finish after receiving it. I took it to the range and fired 50 rounds for the first session and it performed flawlessly. It was very accurate at 25 yards where every single shot was in the kill zone. The trigger was as good as other more expensive 1911s I have fired. I would not hesitate to buy another one. I am very impressed with this 1911 from Tisas especially at this price point.
I jumped on this one due to price point and overall good reviews on YouTube. The pistol comes in a hard case loaded with extras simple cleaning brush and rod, as well as a trigger lock, take down tool, 2 pair of grips, 2 magazines. I cleaned the gun and oiled it up, went to the range and fired 100 rounds. The 8-round magazines worked flawlessly. The pistol ran 100% with no stoppages or issues. I would highly recommend.,
Just got my Tisas 1911 45 ACP a few days ago and took it to the range, I have to say I really enjoyed shooting this gun and would definitely buy more from this company. I made sure I read as many reviews as possible and it paid off. Great service from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore as usual.
I already owned several Tisas products, all of which are very nice. When this .45 was offered at the price of $329, I could not resist buying it. When it arrived, I was not disappointed. The fit and finish for a gun at this price is awesome. I'm pretty sure it has a titanium firing pin. The trigger pull is nice and crisp just as a .45 should be. I really can not criticize any thing about this gun. For the price, it's a homerun.
I love it. It’s beautiful and affordable. I haven’t even really performed with it as I should but I am.
Let me tell you, my brothers and sisters, I have purchased two Tisas 45 cal 1911's. One is the duty model and the other is the 1911 A1 Service. Both are well made and shoot well. I have used 230 grain FMJ and 185 grain Winchester Silver Tip HP with good results. Don't let the price fool ya. I will by one more just to have. This is a pistol you can pass on to your family.
This is my first 1911. I’ve wanted one since I held my first toy years ago. Never would have paid $1000 or more to get one, but with the cost vs performance value that the Tisas gun gives I’m glad I pulled the trigger. I’ve put 150 rounds of FMJ through it. One FTF but it was because i couldn’t count and over-stuffed the mag. Not the fault of the gun. Very little ‘click-clack’ on mine when you hand shake it. It is really well built and tight. Everyone who sees it starts looking for one for themselves. Wholeheartedly recommend this sidearm. Transfer from Sportsman’s was seamless and fast shipping.
