The 1911 Stakeout takes features from Tisas's popular Duty and Tank Commander models to give a touch of modern and military ruggedness. The sleek design is meant to be snag-free with the enhanced A1 style sights, A1 service safety and rounded spur hammer. Tisas added an extended beavertail grip safety to give shooter the ability to get a high grip and save them from hammer bite.

This 1911 arrived in absolutely pristine condition. It’s my first 1911 in 9mm and .38 Super, and my first from TISAS. The nickel finish was flawless on all treated parts. My first trip to the range was a total delight: the 9mm functioned perfectly with a variety of different weights and bullet designs, including FMJs and hollow points. The lockup is tight, and the trigger is wonderful. If I could give this a rating of 10, it would certainly deserve it! I’m 100% satisfied.
No disrespect meant, but since the .38 Super is shorter than a .38 Special, are you sure you loaded Supers? If the shell is too long, it will prevent the slide from going home.
Installed the 38 super barrel and the slide will not return all the way forward. Will dry fire without a miss, but will not fire once loaded. Poor quality. Very disappointed.
